The Origin Of The Cheshire Children’s Museum

CCM had it’s Grand Opening!!! What a huge day! We were all so pleased with the turn out for our big day. All of the happy faces from children, and positive feedback from parents was wonderful! - August 2012
CCM attended Orchard Hill Breadworks Pizza Night in Alstead. - July 2012
CCM announces it’s opening date of August 25th!! We still have work to do, but are very excited to open our doors!
We were also thrilled to attend Keene’s Street Fair where we were able to get the word out about our Grand Opening! - May 2012
CCM attended the Keene Bike Festival! Also, things are moving along at CCM! Our exhibits are under construction and looking good! We are still looking for sponsorship for a few more exhibits. - March, 2012
We had our 2nd annual Pizza Palooza! It was wonderful to see the Colony Mill come to life! We are so grateful for all of the support from the local pizzerias and the community once again! - October 2011
October was a busy and productive month!
We signed the lease for the museum’s space at the Colony Mill in Keene.
CCM once again participated in the Keene Pumpkin Festival and raised funds through our food booth.
It was a beautiful day for our First Annual Mountain Goat Scramble at Granite Gorge. Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and intrepid runners who made it a success! - July 2011

Held the 1st Annual Keene’s Biggest Pizza Party at The Colony Mill. Thank you to our local pizzerias for their delicious pizzas and to all the people who love to eat pizza! - October 2010

CCM became a member of the Association for Children’s Museums. - June 2010
CCM had a booth at Keene Aviation Day at the airport. What a blast! - January 2010
CCM is now officially a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation!!! - October 2009
Completed and submitted filing for Not-For-Profit Status. - May 2009
Articles of Incorporation are filed with the State of New Hampshire. - April 2009
A survey is begun to determine the level of community interest.
