Jocelyn Goldblatt

Executive Director
I’m beyond excited and honored to step into the role of Executive Director at the Cheshire Children’s Museum! As a mother of three teens, I remember the value of spaces that encourage growth, learning, and creativity; spaces like this one that so many of us cherish!

I have experience as Executive Director & Development Director for other non-profits serving local families. I hold a MA in Community Development Policy and Practice from UNH. I’m enrolled in Antioch University’s PhD in Leadership & Change program and am passionate about building a strong, supportive network for families that includes creativity & play.

Together, we can make this museum a hub for connection,
learning, sharing, and most importantly, PLAY!

Please reach out and share your ideas for building and continuing to nurture this vibrant space for this and future generations!

Cathy Hoke

Hi! I’m a Guest Services Representative and Event Room Lead. I’m the mother of 5 children and grandmother to 4. I so enjoy the sounds of children playing, exploring and having fun. When I’m not here, I enjoy time with family, crocheting, and participating in craft fairs.

Hi everyone! My name is Madison and I work as a guest experience representative and training lead here at the museum. I’m currently a student at Keene State College, working towards my bachelors in psychology! Grethe Thurmond

Hi, my name is Grethe! I work as a guest services representative. I come from a large family, growing up here in Keene. I actually grew up going to the Cheshire Children’s Museum when it was in the colony mills. My favorite part of the museum has to be the vet station! I like seeing the kids use their imagination at all the exhibits!

Maria Ettner

Operations Manager
Hi everyone, my name is Maria and I’m the new operations manager. I grew up with a deep love for children’s museums, where every exhibit sparked curiosity and fueled my imagination. That same spirit now drives my work as the Operations Manager at the Cheshire Children’s Museum in Keene. I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, innovative space where kids-and their families- can explore, learn, and play.

As a dedicated mom, I understand firsthand the transformative impact that’s engaging, hands-on experiences can have. I’m committed to enhancing our museum’s educational mission, designing creative programs, and building lasting connections with our community. Every day, I strive to ensure that every visit is not only fun and safe but also a stepping stone in a child’s journey of discovery.

I’m excited for the future and eager to implement fresh ideas and collaborative initiatives that make our museum a vibrant hub for creativity and play. It’s an honor to be part of a community so dedicated to nurturing young minds- both as a professional and a parent.
